About Our Medical Director

Dr. Jorge Andrade has served as our nursing and rehabilitation center’s Medical Director since 1998. Dr. Andrade is currently the Chief of Staff at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River and also operates Andrade Medical Associates.

Dr. Andrade graduated in 1990 from the Universidade De Lisboa, Faculdade De Medicina De Lisboa, in Lisbon, Portugal. He completed his residency in 1996 at Roger Williams McBrown University, Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Andrade completed his internship at Memorial Hospital, Brown University in Providence, with a focus in internal medicine. 

Currently, Dr. Andrade is a member of the Prince Henry Society and serves as President of Medical Staff at St. Anne's Hospital. He belongs to the American Medical Association and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Andrade is a great supporter of Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - Crawford and he has helped the growth of program development. "I am pleased to say that Crawford is my number one choice for placing my patients,” he said. “I am completely comfortable with the competency levels and quality of clinical care provided at Crawford." 

When Dr. Andrade has free time, he enjoys playing tennis and soccer.
